Start-up courses at Vantaa Adult Education Centre

Start-up courses are free Finnish language courses for immigrants and refugees who live in Vantaa.

Enrolment for courses

There are no entrance requirements for the courses at the Adult Education Centre, so you can enrol on any course. Places are allocated in the order of enrolment. We also recommend enroling on a waiting-list!

Education for immigrants

The Vantaa Adult Education Centre offers Finnish language courses as well as a number of other courses intended for immigrants. If you are an immigrant, you are certainly welcome to all the courses at our Centre.

Basic education for adults

You can study in basic education for adults if you have not been going to school in your country or Finland or if school is still not finished. Basic education is intended for those over 17 years of age.
