Do you want to complete basic education? Apply now for adult basic education
In Vantaa, basic adult education will be organised only at the Vantaa Adult Education Centre from August 2025. The application period for autumn training is 14 February - 2 April.
New Finnish courses for beginners at Vantaa Adult Education Centre starting in January

Finnish language Startti courses
Startti courses are free Finnish language courses for immigrants and refugees who live in Vantaa.
Course registration, cancellation and billing
There are no entrance requirements for the courses at the Adult Education Centre, so you can enrol on any course. Places are allocated in the order of enrolment. We also recommend enroling on a waiting-list!
Education for immigrants
The Vantaa Adult Education Centre offers Finnish language courses as well as a number of other courses intended for immigrants. If you are an immigrant, you are certainly welcome to all the courses at our Centre.
