Start-up courses are free Finnish language courses for immigrants and refugees who live in Vantaa.
Summer 2024 Start-up courses
During the summer of 2024, starter courses in Finnish language will be held in Tikkurila and Myyrmäki. Please refer to the registration instructions for each area.
Courses in Tikkurila, Summer 2024
Registration for the Slow Beginner Course and ABC Course takes place on Wednesdays from 1 pm to 3 pm at the Vantaa Adult Education Centre, Lummetie 5.

SUOMI EXPRESS- beginners' courses
SUOMI EXPRESS Finnish language beginners' courses at Vantaa adult education centre are free of charge. These courses are for residents and refugees in Vantaa only can participate only once in the SUOMI EXPRESS course. Register online.

The courses are intended for residents of Vantaa, and students are selected based on language skills. Basic proficiency in the Finnish language is required for the courses. The courses are free of charge.
